Cam's position with Brooks Pierce is Legislative Liaison. As part of her responsibilities, Cam monitors and analyzes legislation issues in the General Assembly; lobbies and networks with legislators on behalf of clients and client issues; monitors study commissions and issues within the Executive Branch; arranges and coordinates client interaction with General Assembly or agency staffs; performs research; drafts legislative bulletins to clients; supervises lobbyists' registration filings and expense reports to be filed with the Secretary of State; prepares federal lobbying and expense reports; reviews and monitors legislative issues; represents clients at various political and social functions; and monitors public hearings. Cam also facilitates the production of "Legislative News Update" and prepares legislative files for individual attorneys.
