Moore County Courthouse, Carthage

Built in 1923, the Moore County Courthouse displays a modified Renaissance revival style. It occupies a prominent setting in the center of the county seat, as do a number of North Carolina courthouses, reflecting the importance placed on county government and the judicial system.
