Libby Brewington's practice is concentrated in corporate law. She regularly represents the firm's clients in general corporate matters, including the organization of profit and non-profit entities, and negotiating and drafting a variety of commercial agreements including employment agreements, non-competition agreements, shareholders agreements and leases.
Libby has broad transactional experience in mergers, asset and stock acquisitions and corporate reorganizations (both taxable and tax-free).
Libby also has significant experience with corporate finance. She has served as both company counsel and bond counsel in the public finance arena. She has represented borrowers and lenders in financing negotiations and documenting commercial loans. She also regularly assists private equity firms with their portfolio investments, which may consist of secured loans, preferred stock and/or warrants, as well as with issues that arise in their on-going relationships with portfolio companies.
