Charles Marshall practices in the areas of civil litigation, media and communications law, and government relations. He appears regularly before state and federal courts and has special experience in appellate practice. He also assists clients on legislative and regulatory matters before Congress, the Federal Communications Commission, the North Carolina General Assembly, and local governmental bodies. Mr. Marshall also has experience assisting clients in public advocacy through speechwriting and preparation of public testimony on various policy issues.

Mr. Marshall's background includes legal and political experience in each of the three branches of the federal government - as a law clerk to the Honorable John D. Butzner, Jr. on the Fourth Circuit; as an attorney at the United States Department of Justice; and as an aide to U.S. Senator Mitch McConnell.
