Dan Smith joined Brooks Pierce after serving as a law clerk to the Hon. Mark D. Martin, Supreme Court of North Carolina, during the 2010-2011 session. His interest in and passion for environmental law and sustainability issues stems from his education in environmental science and past experience as a high school science teacher. Dan will focus his practice on environmental law and business litigation.
