Sue Young represents individual and corporate clients in the fields of mergers and acquisitions, entrepreneurial business development, tax, banking, securities and general corporate law. Sue has represented businesses, business owners, borrowers, lenders, issuers and investors in a variety of corporate and transactional matters, ranging from purchases and sales of small, closely held and family owned businesses to complex multi-million dollar transactions for private and public companies. Sue also maintains an active practice in the representation of banking organizations and provides day-to-day regulatory and corporate advice to a number of publicly-traded corporations. She also advises clients on a variety of general corporate law matters, including advice related to organizational structure, contracts and leases, equity and debt financing, executive compensation and succession planning.
Sue earned her law degree cum laude in 2004 from Wake Forest University. Sue graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Madison School of Business in 1999, where she received a Bachelors in Business Administration with a major in accounting. Before going to law school, she worked for Arthur Anderson LLP in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on a variety of complex corporate and individual tax matters. Sue received her Certified Public Accountant's license in Wisconsin in 1999. Her education and prior work experience brings to clients a unique approach to solving sophisticated business problems.
