Brooks Pierce attorney Phillip Long presented "Critical Legal Issues to Consider" at the Entrepreneurship for Creatives program on April 25 at the Greensboro Cultural Center.
The United Arts Council of Greater Greensboro, in collaboration with the Piedmont Triad Partnership, launched this educational workshop series for artists and creative workers. The program is open to all creatives in the 12-county Piedmont Triad region and begins a regional strategy to support our creative industries.
The program covers a variety of topics, from developing a mission/vision statement to writing a business plan and pricing product. The objective is to provide valuable training to artists and creative workers in order to grow our regional economy through the creation of new small businesses.
Phillip advises companies on corporate, employee benefits, and tax matters. His community involvement includes serving as President of the Greensboro Opera, as a Director for Bel Canto Company, and as a community musician and high school music instructor.
