The American College of Trial Lawyers is an invitation-only, honorary association comprised of litigators who have proven themselves in actual trial practice. Its members include all the present members of the supreme courts of the United States and Canada. The College looks for lawyers who are considered by other lawyers and judges to be the best in their states or provinces.

The College is dedicated to furthering the administration of justice and improving the ethics and standards of the trial profession. The College’s Fellowship represents all branches of trial practice, enabling the organization to speak with a balanced voice on important issues affecting the legal profession and the administration of justice.
