Attorneys with Brooks, Pierce, McLendon, Humphrey & Leonard, LLP were invited by the University of North Carolina to lead sessions at its Annual Festival of Legal Learning, held February 11-12, 2011 in Chapel Hill, NC. The conference is sponsored by the University of North Carolina School of Law.

David Sar and Marcus Trathen presented “Recent Developments in Internet, Privacy and Business Communications Law.”

Robert Saunders presented “Financially Distressed Nonprofits.”

Ed Turlington presented “Legislative Advocacy in Changing Times.”

Ed Winslow presented “The Hole in the Holy Grail: Strategies for Building Collaborative, Cohesive and Effective Law Firms in the Current Practice Environment.”

The two-day Festival of Legal Learning offers continuing professional education on the latest issues in the field of law.
