Brooks Pierce Government Relations Advisor Named to Board of Directors for N.C. State College of Natural Resources Foundation Inc.

Brooks Pierce government relations advisor Elizabeth Biser has been named to the board of directors for the N.C. State College of Natural Resources Foundation Inc.

Established in 1929, the N.C. State College of Natural Resources Foundation is the oldest foundation at North Carolina State University. It is governed by a 20-member board of directors that oversees more than $150 million in assets supporting the College of Natural Resources through scholarships, fellowships, professorships, academic programs, research, facility and lab improvements and various student programs not typically supported through state appropriations.

Biser advocates for clients before the North Carolina General Assembly and state government agencies in a wide range of industries including finance, communications, manufacturing, transportation and environmental sectors. She previously served as director of legislative affairs for the N.C. Department of Environment and Natural Resources. Biser holds a master of public administration and a bachelor of arts in political science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
