Brooks Pierce Partner Justin Outling Participates in Minority Enterprise Development Week Legal Panel

Brooks Pierce partner Justin Outling recently participated in a panel discussion on legal advice for small business owners, including topics such as business litigation, advertising and intellectual property law and fee arrangements. The panel, held at the Greensboro Chamber of Commerce on Sept. 26, was a part of the City of Greensboro’s Minority Enterprise Development (MED) Week programming.  

MED Week offers business development opportunities to firms and celebrates the yearly accomplishments of minority and women enterprises.

Outling focuses his practice on business litigation and white-collar criminal defense, representing clients in matters involving breaches of contract, unfair competition and trade practices, fraud claims, shareholder disputes, commercial financing and governmental investigations. A University of North Carolina-Greensboro alumni and active member of the Greensboro community, Outling has served as a councilman for the City of Greensboro since 2015. He also serves as co-chair of the board of visitors for UNC-Greensboro and on the board of directors for the Hospice Foundation of Greater Greensboro and Greensboro Downtown Parks, Inc.
