Charles S. Baldwin, IV Appointed to NC Foreign Trade Promotion Counsel Board of Directors

Charles S. Baldwin, IV, a partner in the Wilmington office of Brooks Pierce, was appointed to the North Carolina Foreign Trade Promotion Counsel (FTPC) Board of Directors at its February board meeting.

The NC FTPC is an organization dedicated to promoting the growth of international trade with North Carolina companies by providing education, networking opportunities, consulting, and advocacy for companies that export, import and support global trade and foreign investment.

"I am excited about the opportunity to serve an organization that has done so much for North Carolina businesses," Baldwin said. “The FTPC has made invaluable strides in supporting international trade with North Carolina, and I look forward to being a part of future growth and opportunity in our state.”

Baldwin has a diverse practice focused on international law, venture capital and corporate transactional matters. He has been recognized by Business North Carolina Magazine’s Legal Elite as a member of the “Hall of Fame” for his business law practice focusing on cross-border and transportation law. He is listed in U.S. News & World Report’s “Best Lawyers in America” in the field of international trade and finance. He regularly advises North Carolina and foreign businesses on international trade, regulatory and transaction structure matters. Baldwin also serves as the Village Attorney for the Village of Bald Head Island, providing counsel on construction, environmental, municipal and regulatory matters.
