Sarah Saint Named to North Carolina Bar Association’s Education Law Section Council
Brooks Pierce attorney Sarah Saint has been named to the North Carolina Bar Association’s (NCBA) Education Law Section Council.
The NCBA’s Education Law Section promotes education of and networking among attorneys serving schools K-12 and colleges, administrators, employees, faculty and students. The section also provides broad coverage of legal perspectives.
Saint advises and litigates on behalf of public and private educational institutions and school boards on a wide range of education law issues, including special education and disability issues, civil rights laws, and tort claims. She also represents businesses in a variety of industries to resolve disputes, litigating in state and federal court when necessary. Saint has a particular focus on diversity and civil rights issues, including issues related to race, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, and religion. She currently serves as the co-chair of the Diversity and Inclusion Committee for the NCBA’s Young Lawyers Division.
