01.26.2026

Brooks Pierce attorneys Gabby Supak and Katie Wong will participate in the North Carolina Bar Association’s (NCBA) Antitrust & Complex Business Disputes Law Annual Section Program on February 5 at the North Carolina Bar Center in Cary, NC.

Supak will moderate the “Business Court Judges Panel,” which offers the sitting Business Court Judges’ perspectives about practices before the Business Court. Wong will present, “State Your Claim: Trends, Tips and Pitfalls in Pleading,” reviewing the recent Business Court opinions deciding 12(b)(6) motions on common commercial claims and analyzing trends. She will also provide tips for pleading and identifying common pitfalls.

The Antitrust & Complex Business Disputes Law section serves lawyers who practice in the areas of antitrust and trade regulation as well as complex business litigation, including class actions and business torts. The section is concerned primarily with issues related to unfair and deceptive trade practices and antitrust regulation.

Supak uses her experience as a law clerk to assist clients in a broad range of corporate and business matters including complex business litigation, regulatory proceedings, and entity formation.

Wong focuses her practice on commercial and intellectual property litigation, representing clients in all state and federal courts. She works with individuals and companies facing white-collar criminal charges and government investigations.
