Brooks Pierce Attorney Ryan Fairchild to Serve as Panelist for Esports Bar Association

Brooks Pierce attorney Ryan Fairchild will participate in a panel and continuing legal education seminar focused on esports ecosystems at the Cardozo School of Law in New York City on Nov. 7.

The panel will focus on explaining both the legal and non-legal relationships between players, coaches, developers and team owners involved in the esports industry. It is sponsored by The Esports Bar Association, the Cardozo Fashion, Arts, Media and Entertainment Law Center, the Cardozo Interactive Entertainment Law Society and the St. John’s Entertainment, Arts and Sports Law Society.

Fairchild’s diverse practice includes a particular emphasis on the esports industry. He represents players, organizations and stakeholders in a variety of contract, intellectual property, employment and corporate issues. His passion for esports derives from being a lifelong gamer, and he understands the various esports cultures and dynamics, as well as legal and structural issues facing the industry.
