Brooks Pierce partner Sue Young was recently elected to the board of directors of Triangle Family Services (TFS) and named chair of its audit committee.
Located in Raleigh, North Carolina, TFS has provided innovative solutions for families in crisis situations since 1937. Through its three main program areas, family safety, financial stability and mental health, TFS strives to provide assistance to community members of all ages regardless of financial status. TFS partners with other organizations such as United Way of the Greater Triangle, National Foundation for Credit Counseling and Band Together to provide numerous resources to those in need.
With a background in accounting and a deep understanding of finance, Young has experience representing clients in matters ranging from mergers, acquisitions and dispositions to representing businesses, individuals and financial institutions in complex agreements and transactions.
