Brooks Pierce Welcomes New Attorney to Greensboro Office

Leading North Carolina law firm Brooks Pierce is excited to announce that Steve LaSota has joined the firm’s Greensboro office, where he will focus his practice on corporate law, with an emphasis on banking and real estate.

LaSota works with businesses in a variety of industries on general corporate matters including commercial financing, complex contract negotiations and risk management strategies. He has extensive work experience in real estate law, including advising developers and lenders on nearly every aspect of commercial and residential development and disposition. LaSota has served as general counsel for community and regional banks, providing risk management and regulatory guidance. He is admitted to the Florida Bar and Georgia Bar and is seeking admission to the North Carolina State Bar.

LaSota earned his bachelor’s degree from Furman University, his MBA from the University of Florida Warrington College of Business and his juris doctorate from the University of Florida Levin College of Law.
