Selected based on their professional achievements and civic contributions, the 2021 winners will be honored at a virtual awards ceremony presentation on April 22.
Morse is a litigator who focuses much of his work on representing state, regional and national businesses in bankruptcy and financial restructuring matters. He was selected by his peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America© in Litigation - Bankruptcy (2020-2021), named to Benchmark Litigation's “Under 40 Hot List” (2017-2020), selected by his peers for inclusion in Business North Carolina's “Legal Elite” in Bankruptcy Law (2020) and in the Young Guns category (2018-2019) and recognized in North Carolina Super Lawyers (Thomson Reuters) as a “Rising Star” in Business Litigation (2013-2020).
He is also actively involved in the community, serving on many nonprofit boards and organizing a running group for children in his neighborhood. He also participated as a test subject in the clinical trials for Moderna’s COVID-19 vaccine.
“Clint has always been demonstrated a high level of commitment and leadership, both to our clients and the broader community,” said Reid Phillips, managing partner of Brooks Pierce. “He’s highly deserving of this award, and I know we will continue to see great work, both professionally and through his volunteer work.”
