Brooks Pierce partner Coe Ramsey will speak at the 2017 International Bluegrass Music Association’s Business Conference on Tuesday, September 26.
Ramsey’s presentation, titled “Legal Obligations When Broadcasting Live Performances,” will address the legal requirements that must be considered when broadcasting live musical performances online or on other forms of media. He will co-present with David Oxenford, a Washington D.C.-based partner at the law firm of Wilkinson Barker Knauer, LLP.
The International Bluegrass Music Association Business Conference will be held at the Raleigh Convention Center from Sept. 26 through Sept. 28. The session, part of the conference’s CLE track, will be one of four sessions focused on legal topics within the music industry.
