Kearns Davis Elected to N.C. Bar Association Board of Governors

The Board of Governors of the North Carolina Bar Association elected new vice presidents and board members on Saturday, June 25, at the 2011 NCBA Annual Meeting in Asheville.

Brooks Pierce partner Kearns Davis will serve a three-year term.

Kearns Davis has practiced law with Brooks Pierce since 2007 and from 1996-2003. In the interim he served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney. He is a 1991 graduate of Davidson College and 1995 graduate of the University of North Carolina School of Law. Kearns clerked for Judge Sam J. Ervin III of the Fourth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals from 1995-96. He is a past chair of the NCBA Young Lawyers Division and Criminal Justice Section, and currently serves as president of the Middle District of North Carolina Chapter of the Federal Bar Association.
