After a successful professional career of over 57 years, Edgar Fisher retired from the practice of law in 2019. He spent his career working extensively with developers in land acquisition, formation of legal entities, and mortgage loan closings, as well as counseling clients in estate planning and administration.
Edgar represented developers in land acquisition, disposal of land, closing mortgage loans, leasing, commercial leases for businesses, and other general real estate issues. Edgar also served as an adjunct professor for Elon Law School, teaching a class on real estate transactions.
Edgar spent much of his career working closely with clients on estate planning and administration, and has extensive experience drafting wills and trust agreements.

When I’m not practicing law, I love to spend time with my three children and eight grandchildren. One of my children shares my passion for law and practices in Charlotte. I also love being outdoors – I’m an avid gardener, and enjoy fishing, playing golf and vacationing at the beach.
