About Me

I grew up in a rural area in central North Carolina, and all of my grandparents were farmers. My childhood taught me a lot of about the value of goal setting, a strong work ethic and finding practical solutions to problems, and I’ve incorporated those life lessons into my practice. What I enjoy most about my work as a lawyer is forming personal relationships with my clients and becoming an integral part of their team. Feeling that I have contributed in some way to my clients’ success is what drives me.

If I’m not practicing law, my description of a perfect day would include standing at the top of a ski slope on a brisk sunny day, or sitting in my chair in the sun at an Americana music festival. I enjoy doing most anything outside, even things others might consider work. If I were not a lawyer, I’d probably be doing something that involved the land or things that grow on it.
