Overview

Karen Schulz has over 15 years of experience as a real estate paralegal. She is well-versed in the intricacies of both residential and commercial real estate transactions. She assists attorneys with all functions involved in real estate closings, including abstracting and examining titles, writing title opinions, drafting closing documents, coordinating closing packages, and ordering surveys.

Karen also prepares and files estate documents, assists attorneys with foreclosures, and serves as a liaison between attorneys, mortgage lenders, and title companies. Before arriving at Brooks Pierce, Karen served in the real estate departments of other law firms in the Raleigh area.
