Sue Young is a transactional lawyer whose practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and general corporate law. Sue is a strategic and practical problem solver who is driven by integrity and a passion for achieving the best results for her clients.
A former accountant, Sue advises businesses and individuals on a variety of tax matters.
Sue has significant experience representing clients in mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, and other strategic transactions. She has represented both buyers and sellers and public and private companies. Sue negotiates and drafts transaction documents, including merger agreements, asset purchase agreements, stock purchase agreements, joint venture agreements, and related transactional documents.

Sue has extensive experience serving as general corporate counsel to businesses in a wide variety of industries. She provides legal advice on issues including organizational structure, equity and debt financing, investments, joint ventures and similar arrangements, succession planning, corporate governance, commercial disputes, executive compensation, employment agreements, supply and distribution agreements, license agreements, and other general business and contractual matters.
Utilizing her background in accounting and deep understanding of finance, Sue represents businesses and individuals as borrowers, as well as financial institutions and individuals as lenders, in complex financing arrangements. Her work focuses on the structuring and documentation of secured and unsecured lending transactions. She also works with companies on raising capital and issuing equity interests, and provides counsel on investment transactions.
Sue has worked with several public companies on regulatory filings such as 10Ks, 10Qs and proxy statements. She also advises companies on disclosure requirements and corporate governance issues.
