Brooks Pierce is proud to have sponsored the Capital City Lawyers Association’s (CCLA) 2019 Annual Scholarship Christmas Gala held Dec. 13 at the Sheraton Hotel in Raleigh.
CCLA’s annual Christmas Gala is the association’s signature fundraising event supporting its scholarship effort. Each year the CCLA awards two scholarships to deserving law students who are committed to practicing in the Triangle area to benefit low income and/or traditionally underserved communities.
CCLA is a local, inclusive, voluntary bar association comprised primarily of minority attorneys, judges and elected officials. The CCLA’s mission is to improve the quality of life for the local citizenry, most particularly in underprivileged or under-represented communities through service, scholarship and education.
Brooks Pierce is committed to actively promoting and increasing diversity internally, as well as supporting, with our time and resources, organizations that seek to augment diversity and inclusion in the communities we call home.
