Brooks Pierce sponsored the National Conference for Community and Justice (NCCJ) Brotherhood/Sisterhood Citation Award Dinner held Nov. 13 in Greensboro.
The Citation Award is presented to leaders in the Triad in recognition of their commitment to fighting bias, bigotry and racism, and their extraordinary efforts to make the local community a better place for everyone. Judge Lawrence McSwain and Dr. Nido Qubein were honored with the 2019 award.
NCCJ is a human relations organization that promotes understanding and respect among all cultures, races and religions through advocacy, education and dialogue.
Brooks Pierce supports diversity and inclusion efforts in our communities by sponsoring and participating in events, programs and organizations that encourage equal access to justice and advocacy across racial, gender and socioeconomic lines.
