Brooks Pierce will host nearly 100 attorneys from around the Triad on Friday, March 1, as it serves as one of six host sites for the North Carolina Bar Foundation’s (NCBF) 12th annual 4ALL Statewide Service Day. Through this pro bono program, attorneys are available between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. to provide free legal information to North Carolina residents.
Last year more than 500 volunteer attorneys took 9,000 calls, answering questions related to bankruptcy, criminal law, estate planning, immigration, taxes, and other legal subjects.
The 4ALL Statewide Service Day was first held in 2008. The annual event is made possible through the generous support of donors to the North Carolina Bar Foundation Endowment and Annual Fund. Established in 1960 as the charitable arm of the North Carolina Bar Association, the Foundation’s mission is to unite the talent and generosity of the legal profession to be a power of greater good for the people of North Carolina.
