Darrell Fruth Presents Guest Lecture for Duke Law School's Start-Up Ventures Clinic

On March 6, 2014, Brooks Pierce attorney Darrell Fruth presented a guest lecture to students in Duke Law School’s Start-up Ventures Clinic.  Darrell discussed intellectual property issues for start-ups, including copyright, trademark, patent, and trade secrets for technology and content-creating companies.  The lecture emphasized practical considerations and “real-life” scenarios that young businesses often face when working with others to market and distribute their work.  Darrell will continue their involvement by participating in the clinic’s office hours later this year.
