Kearns Davis Presents at Mecklenburg County Bar’s All-Star Trial Advocacy Continuing Legal Education Event

Brooks Pierce partner Kearns Davis recently presented at the Mecklenburg County Bar’s All-Star Trial Advocacy Continuing Legal Education (CLE) event. The CLE was held at the Bar & Foundation Center in Charlotte on February 11.

The presentation, entitled “Developing Your Case: Plan Your Work and Work Your Plan,” provided insight into strategic preparation and tactical execution in litigation and trial. Davis presented with Moore & Van Allen partner Valecia McDowell.

Davis leads the firm's white-collar defense and investigations practice and handles a broad range of federal and business litigation. A former Assistant U.S. Attorney, he has tried jury cases at all levels of federal and North Carolina trial courts, and he represents clients in federal trial and appellate courts around the country. Davis served as President of the North Carolina Bar Association from 2016-17 and as President of the Federal Bar Association’s Middle District of North Carolina Chapter from 2010-11.
