Natalie Sanders Discusses Workplace Professionalism at North Carolina Society for Human Resource Management Conference
Brooks Pierce attorney Natalie Sanders recently spoke at the North Carolina Society for Human Resource Management (NCSHRM) Conference. The event was held at the Hickory Metro Convention Center Sept. 25-27.
Sanders’ presentation, “Professionalism in the Workplace: Going Beyond #MeToo,” provided information on how employers can raise the level of employee professionalism as positive, proactive means of ending on-the-job misconduct. She also discussed steps that can be taken to develop a more professional business culture.
Sanders advises clients on how to remain compliant with state and federal regulations and how to best position themselves against future litigation as they navigate employment issues including: investigating workplace misconduct, preparing employment and non-compete agreements, terminating employees, drafting policies, updating handbooks, promoting diversity and inclusion, and avoiding discrimination and harassment claims. She also represents employers in federal and state administrative proceedings and court claims.
