Attorney Ryan Fairchild will moderate a session titled “Building a Career in Esports Law” at the Esports Bar Association (EBA) conference in Los Angeles. The June 11 conference is the inaugural event for the new EBA, which seeks to bring together attorneys in this rapidly growing field to dive deep into the issues facing the esports industry.

Additional sessions at the conference include discussions about esports at the collegiate level, growing and protecting a brand and esports betting.

Fairchild represents esports players, organizations and stakeholders in negotiating and drafting contracts, structuring intellectual property protections, and addressing corporate matters. His passion for esports derives from being a lifelong gamer, and he understands the various esports ecospheres, cultures and dynamics, and the legal problems facing the industry.
