Winslow to Present at NC Bar Association's Annual Meeting

Brooks Pierce attorney Ed Winslow will present "Risk Management for Law Offices - The 21st Century Payments System and Its New Opportunities for Scams, Frauds, Abuses and Law Office Embezzlements" on June 26 at the North Carolina Bar Association's Annual Meeting at the Grove Park Inn.

The presentation will cover Internet scams aimed at lawyers; risks for lawyers of new banking services such as remote deposit capture and remotely created checks; the unique dynamics of mass market frauds; and the widening gap between 20th Century laws and 21st Century skullduggery. 

Ed Winslow is the Managing Partner at Brooks Pierce. He represents business and corporate clients with an emphasis in the fields of banking and financial services.
