Brooks Pierce Attorney to Speak at Mecklenburg Bar Association Zoom CLE Webinar
Brooks Pierce partner Jamey Lowdermilk will speak on April 30 at the Mecklenburg Bar Association’s “Bankruptcy Basics for the Non-Bankruptcy Attorney” zoom webinar. Jamey will present with Patrick Riley from Cape Fear Debt Relief. The program provides a general overview of the bankruptcy system, including the different types of chapters, key concepts, and how bankruptcy proceedings can intersect with other areas of law. Designed for non-bankruptcy practitioners, this CLE helps attorneys better understand the basics and recognize issues that may arise when bankruptcy becomes part of a client’s legal landscape.
Together, the 26th Judicial District Bar, Mecklenburg Bar Association, and Mecklenburg Bar Foundation continue more than a century of dedication to the legal profession and the community they serve.
Jamey Lowdermilk provides dynamic and passionate counsel on complex business and family litigation, including heirs’ property, bankruptcy and insolvency challenges, and nonprofit matters. Jamey is a former law clerk for the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of North Carolina.
