Nancy Hardison to Present at the Meeting of the Carolinas Chapter of the Association of Environmental & Engineering Geologists
Brooks Pierce Senior Counsel Nancy Hardison is a guest speaker at the Association of Environmental & Engineering Geologists (AEG) dinner meeting in Greensboro on October 29.
Nancy will discuss how environmental professionals can help clients make informed decisions when the consequences are uncertain, the regulatory framework does not provide clear answers, and the cost of eliminating uncertainty may be disproportionate to the risk itself.
The AEG Carolinas Chapter has been in existence as a separate Chapter of AEG since 1988. AEG Carolinas serves the environmental and engineering geology profession and the public in North Carolina and South Carolina.
Nancy has extensive experience in environmental regulation, contaminated site assessment and remediation, compliance strategies, and enforcement under North Carolina law. She has developed operational procedures and represented state agencies in environmental litigation and appeals. Nancy helps clients navigate remediation obligations, manage environmental risks, and find practical solutions for contaminated properties.
