Brooks Pierce attorney Noah Hock participated in two panels at the Ohio Association of Broadcasters (OAB) Exchange Conference in Ohio. In the opening panel, Noah contributed to the discussion titled “The Future of Sports Broadcasting.” He also participated in a second panel titled “FCC and Regulatory Updates,” covering the latest legal and regulatory issues affecting broadcasters, where he reflected on the impact of federal policies on radio and television stations.
The new OAB Exchange is a reimagined conference focused on relevant discussions, roundtables, and opportunities to engage directly with broadcasting peers and partners. Broadcasting colleague attendees exchange ideas, share what’s working, and explore what’s next for local TV and radio stations.
Noah focuses his practice on the disparate but related worlds of entertainment and broadcast media. He counsels broadcasters and other media clients, large and small, on all aspects of their business, from Federal Communications Commission (FCC) regulatory compliance and enforcement, programming, regulatory and legislative advocacy, technical matters, intellectual property issues, to purchase & sale of media properties.
Noah also represents musicians, artists, filmmakers, authors, and other creatives with local, national and international reach. He assists clients with the protection and licensing of their intellectual property, works to protect their rights from infringement, and crafts brand and image strategies to help them grow.
