Legal Assistant - Greensboro

07.09.2026

Brooks Pierce, a full-service business law firm, with over 125 lawyers and four North Carolina offices, seeks a full-time Legal Assistant for our downtown Greensboro office.

This Legal Assistant will support attorneys in a collaborative law firm environment. Many of our Legal Assistants support attorneys across more than one practice area, so this position is well suited for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in learning new areas of law and procedure, and can adapt to different attorney preferences and client needs.

The successful candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, responsive, and adaptable, with the ability to manage competing priorities, produce accurate work, and communicate clearly with attorneys, clients, and colleagues. Prior law firm experience is important, but specific practice-area experience is less important than strong legal administrative skills, sound judgment, professionalism, curiosity, flexibility, and a commitment to excellent client service. Responsibilities may vary depending on attorney assignments, practice needs, and client-service demands.

This position is primarily in-office in our downtown Greensboro office. After an appropriate introductory period and depending on business needs, up to one remote workday per week may be available. The position requires availability during a set core schedule, with occasional overtime or schedule flexibility as needed.

Interested candidates should submit a resume and a cover letter to HRDirector@brookspierce.com. Please include your salary requirements.
