He received his bachelor’s degree in business from Wake Forest University and his juris doctorate from the University of Virginia School of Law. Prior to joining Brooks Pierce, Starrett served as a law clerk for a federal judge in Virginia.

“I am honored that this group of attorneys, whom I greatly admire, have asked me to become their partner,” said Starrett. “Over the years, Brooks Pierce has provided me the tools to develop my practice and grow as a lawyer. I am excited about the new challenges and opportunities being a partner will bring and look forward to taking on additional leadership within the firm.”
