06.30.2015

Brooks Pierce partner Erwin Fuller has been elected to the North Carolina Bar Association (NCBA) Senior Lawyers Division Council.

As a council member, Fuller will help lead the division as it seeks to promote the interests of senior lawyers in North Carolina and carry out programs, publications and activities specifically designed for attorneys who are at least 65 years of age.

“I am honored to have been chosen to serve North Carolina’s senior lawyers,” said Fuller. “As the legal landscape continues to evolve, the resources provided by the Senior Lawyers Division are essential to the continued growth and education of even the most experienced professionals.”

An active member of the NCBA, Fuller most recently served as the 2014-15 Continuing Legal Education planner for the Senior Lawyers Division. Fuller also served on the Convention Planning Advisory Committee for this year’s NCBA Annual Meeting in Asheville, and is a member of the NCBA Foundation Development Committee. Fuller was an NCBA Citizen Lawyer Award recipient in June of 2011.

Since joining Brooks Pierce in 1966, Fuller has focused his practice in real property, estate planning and estate administration. Fuller has more than 50 years of experience in handling commercial and other business property acquisitions, as well as commercial loan closings for both borrowers and lenders. He also has handled a variety of other real estate matters, such as rezoning proceedings, right-of-way issues and the preparation of property purchase and sale documents.
