Brooks Pierce Partner Named Advisory Member of Ethics Committee for North Carolina State Bar Council

Brooks Pierce partner David Sar was named an advisory member of the Ethics Committee of the North Carolina State Bar Council for 2021.

The Ethics Committee is a standing committee of the Council of the State Bar. The advisory members are lawyers from the general membership of the bar. The primary purpose of the Ethics Committee is to provide advice to the members of the State Bar relative to their ethical dilemmas.

Sar represents clients in commercial disputes and matters pertaining to technology and intellectual property. He litigates and handles business transactions involving trademarks, patents, copyrights, trade secrets and technology. Sar also currently serves on the Local Patent Rules Committee for the United States District Court for the Middle District of North Carolina.
