Bryan Starrett Appointed to Greensboro Community Partners Board

Brooks Pierce attorney Bryan Starrett has been named to the newly-formed Community Partners Board for the City of Greensboro.  The Board was appointed on January 19, 2016, as part of a new process for submitting and approving funding requests for non-profit agencies and organizations.

As a member of the Community Partners Board, Starrett will be tasked with receiving and approving requests for city funding from community non-profits.  The Community Partners Board's decisions will be submitted to the City Manager for inclusion in the 2016-2017 fiscal year budget for the City of Greensboro.  For more information on the Community Partners Board or its approval process for funding requests, visit this webpage.

Brooks Pierce's managing partner, Reid Phillips, commented that "Brooks Pierce attorneys have always prided themselves on being active, contributing members of their communities.  It is continually rewarding to see lawyers like Bryan Starrett volunteer their time and energy to serve on boards for local organizations, knowing that they are making a real difference in our city."

Bryan Starrett represents businesses in litigation, internal investigations and compliance, employment law, and privacy.  He is a graduate of the University of Virginia School of Law and holds a B.S. from Wake Forest University.  Starrett is also a Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional, and a member of the Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics.
