Wade Hargrove, a partner of Brooks, Pierce, McLendon, Humphrey & Leonard, LLP, Raleigh, was presented the Ward L. Quaal Award for excellence in broadcasting by the Broadcasters Foundation of America.
The Foundation honored Hargrove with the award at the National Association of Broadcasters Annual Conference in Las Vegas. The award is given in recognition of career contributions to the broadcast industry and public service to the community at large.
Hargrove serves as legal counsel to numerous media companies throughout the nation. Additionally, he has served as counsel to the U.S. Government for international satellite treaty negotiations in Geneva and has been asked to testify before numerous Congressional committees on topics affecting the nation’s telecommunications industries.
