Brooks Pierce Becomes a Family Forward NC Certified Employer


Brooks Pierce is pleased to announce that the firm has received Family Forward NC Certification at the Engaged level. This certification recognizes employers who provide family-friendly workplace benefits, including policies and practices that support the health and well-being of working families and children.

To receive certification, employers apply, undergo verification of written policies and participate in an employee survey. Employers who achieve certification create positive social change for families with benefits that promote health, financial stability and future career success. 

Family Forward NC is an initiative of the North Carolina Early Childhood Foundation to improve children’s health and well-being and keep North Carolina’s businesses competitive. It is employer-led change to increase access to research-based, family-friendly practices — big and small — that improve workplace productivity, recruitment and retention; grow a strong economy; and support children’s healthy development.
