Brooks Pierce Partner and White-Collar Defense Practice Featured in Triad Business Journal

In an article published April 12, 2024, Triad Business Journal profiled the career of Brooks Pierce partner Kearns Davis and the growth of the firm’s white-collar defense practice. Earlier this year, Davis was awarded the Wade M. Smith Award – the most prestigious honor bestowed on a criminal defense attorney by the North Carolina Bar Association’s (NCBA) Criminal Justice Section. The article charted the growth of the firm’s white-collar defense practice, which has expanded to more than a dozen attorneys since he founded it in 2007. “The capabilities of our team have grown particularly in just the size and depth of our bench,” said Davis. The practice handles cases in North Carolina and across the country.
