Brooks Pierce partner Haniya Mir was recently appointed to the Wake Tech Foundation Board of Directors. As one of five new board members, she will help guide the Foundation's efforts to expand student opportunities, strengthen partnerships and support the college's long-term growth.
The Foundation manages corporate investments, private grants, alumni and employee contributions, and financial and other resources that help the college provide top-quality, affordable education and workforce training throughout the Wake County region.
Mir is a transactional lawyer who represents businesses of all sizes in a wide range of corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, securities law, corporate governance, and commercial contracting.
