Greg Gaught to Speak About Recent Civil Law Updates

10.14.2025

Brooks Pierce partner Greg Gaught will present civil law updates at the North Carolina Bar Association (NCBA) 2025 Annual Review taking place on Oct. 16-17 at the North Carolina Bar Center in Cary. The program will also be available via live webcast.

In a panel on Oct. 16, Gaught will address recent key decisions from the North Carolina Supreme Court, the North Carolina Court of Appeals and the North Carolina Business Court.

Gaught helps individuals, small businesses, and large corporations navigate—and prevail in—complex civil litigation, white-collar criminal prosecutions, government investigations, and appeals. Formerly a litigator in a top global law firm, he also clerked for federal judges in North Carolina at both the trial and appellate levels. Gaught has deep experience litigating in federal court, as well as North Carolina’s Business Court, Court of Appeals, and Supreme Court. He’s as comfortable in the courtroom as he is crafting winning motions and briefs.

The NCBA Annual Review is designed to provide participants with the latest updates on key court decisions and significant amendments to legislation and policies covering a variety of topics and practice areas. Highlights of this year’s program include updates regarding business law; civil law; criminal law; employment law; estate planning law; family law; and real estate property law.
