Haniya Mir Participates in Panel Discussion at Duke University School of Law

Brooks Pierce partner Haniya Mir participated in a panel discussion on Jan. 19 at Duke University School of Law about Living and Working in North Carolina. An alumna of Duke Law, she is an active member of the Law Alumni Association (LAA) and previously served on the LAA Board of Directors. 

The panel was comprised of attorneys practicing in Greensboro and Raleigh, who spoke to students about their legal careers and the benefits of working as lawyers in North Carolina, including a positive work-life balance. 

Mir is a transactional lawyer, representing businesses of all sizes on a variety of corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, securities law, corporate governance, entity formation, and equity and debt financing. She works closely with clients to provide thorough, timely counsel through a host of complex corporate transactions.
