Jamey Lowdermilk Named to Carolina Farm Stewardship Association Board of Directors
Brooks Pierce partner Jamey Lowdermilk has been appointed to the Carolina Farm Stewardship Association’s (CFSA) board of directors. She will serve on the board for a two-year term.
CFSA is a farmer-driven, membership-based non-profit that helps people in North and South Carolina grow, eat, and enjoy local, organic food, flowers, and fibers. CFSA also advocates, educates, and builds connections to create sustainable food systems in the Carolinas centered on local and organic agriculture.
Lowdermilk provides dynamic and passionate counsel on complex business and family litigation, including heirs’ property, bankruptcy and insolvency challenges, and nonprofit matters. She represents businesses and individuals in complex commercial matters in state and federal courts, and has tried multiple state district court bench cases. She also advises clients establishing new entities and reorganizing existing endeavors.
