Brooks Pierce attorney Ryan Fairchild has been named to the board of directors for the North American League of Legends Championship Series Players Association (NA LCS Players Association).

The NA LCS Players Association works to protect players from efforts to diminish their rights, opportunities or ability to compete by representing their interests in every matter that impacts them; increase player participation in the association and ensure every player, from rookie to legend, is invested in the collective future of the league and their fellow players; and bring light to issues where players and fans have been left in the dark, and carve a path for leadership in guiding the league.

Fairchild’s diverse practice includes an emphasis on the esports industry. His passion for esports derives from being a lifelong gamer, and he understands the various cultures and dynamics as well as legal, economic and structural issues facing the industry. He represents players, organizations and stakeholders in a variety of contract, intellectual property, employment and corporate issues. Fairchild has authored numerous articles on the esports climate and is a frequent speaker at industry events on the legal issues affecting the esports community.
