Beth Langley Presents Webinar on Maintaining Business Operations Under COVID-19

Brooks Pierce partner Beth Langley will present a webinar to the Guilford Medical and Dental Managers Association on Sept. 16.

The presentation, “Maintaining Business Operations Under COVID-19 and Ongoing Workplace Regulations,” focuses on applicable employment laws and regulations pertaining to employers’ obligations when employees request leave due to school and childcare closures related to COVID-19, including virtual school; handling temporary and permanent layoffs; and practical tips for businesses to avoid employment and safety-related litigation.

Langley has over 25 years of experience representing businesses in employment litigation in state and federal courts and administrative proceedings, including discrimination matters, civil rights, executive compensation disputes, non-competition agreements and trade secret protection. She counsels employers of all sizes in an array of employment law issues including regulatory and statutory compliance, litigation avoidance and dispute resolution.
