Justin Outling Participates in Diversity Panel for NC Bar Association

Brooks Pierce partner Justin Outling was featured in a May 14 panel discussion hosted by the Minorities in the Profession Committee and the Young Lawyers Division of the North Carolina Bar Association.

The virtual event, “How to Build your Brand as a Diverse Attorney,” included attorneys from diverse backgrounds and practice areas who shared insight into their experiences regarding networking, professionalism, emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills. The event was designed to help lawyers craft a distinct brand for use in their particular corporate environment.

In addition to his legal practice, Outling serves as the firm’s director of diversity and inclusion and is responsible for originating, leading and supervising all of Brooks Pierce’s diversity and inclusion efforts. He focuses his practice on business litigation and white-collar criminal defense, helping businesses and professionals in a variety of industries.
